Los Angeles Cyclists Gets Hit By Car Who Flees Scene: Cops

A cyclist is hit by a car and falls off his bike. He rolls to the right and suffers minor injuries as the car keeps on driving, police say. The driver could have avoided charges if they stuck around, police say. “It only became a crime when the driver fled the scene without rendering aid and identifying themselves,” said LAPD Detective Juan Campos. A $5,000 reward is now offered for the arrest and conviction of the driver involved in the crash.
