    According to the World Health Organization, “about 10% of pregnant women and 13% of women who have just given birth experience a mental disorder, primarily depression.” But U.S.-based maternal advocacy group Every Mother Counts says their research suggests one in five pregnant or postpartum people in the country "experience maternal mental health complications.
