September 9, 2024

In a video, a Florida officer seems to physically shove Miami Dolphins Tyreek Hill to the ground. It happened before the Miami Dolphins played their season opener game. Hill says he was stopped for speeding. He also says he can't explain how he ended up in handcuffs but the police union representing the cops says Hill had been driving dangerously and after being pulled over was uncooperative. They also say according to department policy, and for the officers' immediate safety,  he was put in cuffs adding he was released a few minutes later with two traffic citations. Hill was able to make it to the kickoff. Police are investigating and announced one of the officers involved was put on administrative leave.
