Woman Calls Husband ‘Guardian Angel’ After She Lands Plane
Yvonne and Eliot Alper were on a flight from Las Vegas to California when Eliot was stricken by a heart attack. Yvonne found herself 20,000 feet in the air and headed straight for the ocean. The only thing she could think to do next was grab her husband’s headset and radio for help. Coached by an experienced pilot in the air traffic control tower, Yvonne pulled off a perfect landing.
