In New York City, thousands lined the street to say “thank you for your service” during the annual Veterans Day parade, an event cancelled last year due to the pandemic. The night before, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended the Freedom Gala in Manhattan. Harry once served in Afghanistan.
