Rapper DMX Dies at Age 50 in New York Hospital Following Heart Attack

Legendary rapper DMX has died. He was 50 years old. The hip hop star’s death was confirmed by his family and White Plains Hospital. DMX’s passing comes almost a week after he suffered a catastrophic heart attack reportedly brought on by an overdose. DMX, whose real name was Earl Simons, was born in Mount Vernon, New York. He rose to fame in the '90s and early 2000s, winning Grammy awards in 2000 and 2001 for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist.
