The 26-year-old’s many fans and everyone she knew were stunned when her body was found in a ditch outside Houston, Texas, last summer with indications that she had been strangled. Suspicion fell on her husband Thomas, who cops said was “evasive” during questioning. After determining there was a history of domestic violence, law enforcement charged him with murder. But as they closed in to arrest him, he shot himself in the head.
