Teens' Resiliency During Trying 2020 School Year Showcased in Hulu's 'Homeroom'

Pete Nicks' "Homeroom" was supposed to examine the anxieties teens face in school in a rapidly changing world, thanks in part to social media. However, 2020 had different plans. The film is Nicks' third in a trilogy, the first of which, "The Waiting Room," explored Oakland’s healthcare system, and the second, of which, "The Force," looked at the Oakland police.
