Virginia Woman Ordered to Stop Digging Tunnel Underneath Her House

A Virginia woman was ordered to stop digging a tunnel underneath her house. The woman, who calls herself Kala the Science Girl, says she decided one day she was going to build a tunnel through the wall of her basement. Although she does not have any permits or qualifications, she used a book as her guide to build the tunnel. The city of Herndon, Virginia, finally got wind of her secret infrastructure and shut her down.
