A white customer at the Cannery Cafe in Vancouver, Canada, made a scene when he lectured his server to start with English or French in a bizarre, apparent anti-Asian rant. A witness says it all began when the waitress spoke with other people at a different table in Mandarin. “She’s just trying to get his order in and do her job,” said bystander Janice Yeung, who was having breakfast with her brother at the restaurant.
