Tourists Rescued From Gold Mine After Fatal Accident

An investigation is underway to determine what caused a tour guide to die and 23 others to be trapped after authorities say an elevator suffered a mechanical problem. The incident happened at Colorado's Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine. During the rescue mission, trapped tourists were pulled to safety after they were stuck at the halfway point down the elevator shaft. Twelve other people were rescued after being stuck at the bottom of the mine for six hours.
