1-Year-Old Dead After Fentanyl Exposure at Daycare

Parents are mourning the loss of a 1-year-old who, according to police, died after being exposed to fentanyl in a daycare facility. Four children were sent to the hospital on September 15. All of them were exposed to fentanyl at a licensed Bronx, New York, home-based daycare, according to police. First responders say they found three children unresponsive and in cardiac arrest when they arrived at Divino Niño daycare. The children were given Narcan, the emergency opioid overdose medication.
