Hospital Staff Cheers as Last Uvalde Survivor Is Discharged

A hospital celebrated as the last survivor of the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, was discharged to cheers and well wishes. Mayah Zamora, 10, passed out flowers to the staff at University Health in San Antonio who cared for her for more than two months. The May 24th shooting claimed the lives of 19 of her fellow students as well as two teachers. A GoFundMe page set up for Mayah by her family says that she has undergone numerous surgeries.
