14-Year-Old Texas Boy Dies After Pushing Friends Away From Oncoming Car

A 14-year-old boy is being hailed a hero for saving his friends from the path of an oncoming car. Ricky Rojas, Jr. was struck by the vehicle and died, leaving those friends and his family devastated. Damion Escobar was with Ricky that day. He says they were walking to a store when the car came down the street. He says he felt Ricky push him, but Damion was still struck. He was able to get up afterward and saw Ricky Jr. on the ground. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
