16-Year-Old Helps Florida First Responders Get New Apartment After House Fire

A Florida teen stepped in to help a family of first responders after they lost everything in a devastating house fire. Ryan and Ayleen Apathy are both fighting the coronavirus pandemic as nurses. But after their home burned down, they were searching for a place for their two young sons to live. Steven Ferreiro heard their story on the news and stepped in to help. Together with AHS Residential, Ferreiro helped get the family a rent-free apartment for three months while they rebuild their home.
