December 31, 2018
An intern at a zoological park in North Carolina was killed when a lion escaped its enclosure during a routine cleaning. Alexandra Black, 22, of Indiana had only been at the Conservators Center for two weeks. The staff says the lion got out of its locked space and into an area where people were, quickly killing Black.
