228-Carat White Diamond Known as ‘The Rock’ Could Fetch $30 Million at Auction

A massive diamond is hitting the auction block at Christie’s later this month and is expected to break records. The Rock weighs 228 carats and is one of the largest white diamonds in the world. Roughly the size and weight of a small egg, it was mined in South Africa 20 years ago. The auctioneer who gets to call this lot says he feels the pressure of this sale as this stone could fetch up to $30 million. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
