23-Year-Old Los Angeles Cop Toni McBride Sued Over Fatal Shooting of Daniel Hernandez

Toni McBride, a Los Angeles police officer with a large social media following, is now at the center of a deadly shooting. She’s being sued by the family of Daniel Hernandez, whom she fatally shot after a multiple vehicle traffic collision that police say he caused. Following the accident, Hernandez  exited the vehicle with what cops say was a boxcutter. Bodycam footage shows McBride telling him to “drop the knife.”
