5 Separate Shark Attacks Reported Along New York Beaches

Over the July 4th holiday weekend, there was terror at American beaches. At Florida's Navarre Beach and Perdido Key Beach, sharks were seen swimming alongside some beachgoers. In New York, five separate shark attacks were reported over the July 4th holiday on Long Island. In one incident, a 15-year-old was treated for a shark bite on his foot. A drone spotted about 50 sharks swarming offshore, prompting state officials to delay the opening of the beach at Robert Moses State Park.
