61-Year-Old Mail Carrier Dies From Dog Attack

A Florida mail carrier died after being mauled by a pack of dogs. Pamela Jane Rock, 61, was out on her mail route when her truck broke down. After she exited the vehicle, five dogs escaped through a fence and launched a vicious attack. An armed neighbor fired several shots in the air to scare the pack but the dogs did not stop. Rock later died. Rock is the latest mail carrier to be attacked by dogs, a problem so bad that the USPS has issued instructions on what to do in the event of an attack.
