8-Year-Old Girl Finds Ancient Sword in Swedish Lake

An 8-year-old girl has found a 1,000-year-old sword in a Swedish lake! Saga Vanecek was wading in the water by her family's summer house in southern Sweden when she noticed something that felt like a stick. "Daddy, I found a sword," she said as she picked it up. The sword, which now resides in a local museum, may date back to the fifth or sixth century. The find has prompted some to call Saga the new "Queen of Sweden."
