9 Children in Alabama Diagnosed With Hepatitis and Other Liver Conditions: CDC

Health officials are on alert after a cluster of children in Alabama were diagnosed with hepatitis, liver inflammation and/or adenovirus. The Centers for Disease Control reports the cases were found in nine children under 10 years of age in Alabama from October to February. Another two cases were diagnosed in North Carolina.
