9/11 Survivor Who Moved to Kenya Among 14 Killed in Attack

An American has been found to be one of the people killed inside an upscale hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, on Tuesday. The attack is suspected to have been carried out by Somalia-based militants al-Shabab, according to reports. Businessman Jason Spindler, 40, was having lunch in the lobby when he was gunned down. Spindler had survived the Sept. 11 attacks when he was working at World Trade Center. “Jason was a survivor of 9/11 and a fighter. I am sure he gave them hell,” his brother wrote.
