A Lavish Party in Connecticut Is Being Blamed For Spreading Coronavirus

A 40th birthday party in Connecticut might be the source of several coronavirus cases throughout the state and beyond. The gathering, now being called “Party Zero,” had 50 guests earlier this month, many of whom left the party to head home in different states and cities. One guest even traveled as far as South Africa afterward, and then reported getting sick. Now, the small, upscale town of Westport, where the party was held, has been virtually shuttered to fight the spread of the virus.
