Born in Syria, 21-year-old Ahmad Alissa moved to the United States when he was 3 years old. His brother was quoted as saying he was “very antisocial and paranoid.” The terrifying scene that played out inside the King Soopers store was livestreamed by journalist Dean Schiller. Alissa was apprehended by a SWAT team.
