Animals Being Fostered From Shelters Are Bringing People Joy in a Time of Need

Though many animal shelters are closed due to stay-at-home orders, many rescue organizations are finding new ways to connect people with animals in need of a home. New protocols allow you to adopt or foster a pet online without leaving the house. Compared to this time last year, adoptions are up 100% from last year, and fosters are up 197% according to a Pethealth database. Shelters appreciate the relief while they are short staffed, and many people are finding joy in their new furry friends.
