At one drugstore in Los Angeles, just about every single item is behind plastic guards. From paper plates to potato chips, most of the store is behind lock and key. The number of products locked up here is being described as extraordinary and unusual. For anything you want to buy here, you have to press the call button and wait for a sales clerk to help.
