Artist Creates Met Gala Look With Drop Cloth and Wall Paneling

With outfits like this, the Met Gala would be lucky to have Brendan McCann walking their famous stairs! Artist and DIY designer Brendan used a drop cloth, wall paneling from his childhood bedroom, and heels from Forever 21 to create his take on the 2021 Met Gala theme, “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.” Brendan says he’ll keep making his stunning homemade looks until his designs are walking the stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
