Astronauts Use Special Test Oven to Bake Out-of-This-World Cookies in Space

What's better than a fresh, hot chocolate chip cookie? Not much. It's an out-of-this-world pleasure most of us earthlings take for granted. But baking cookies in space is a whole other story. Right now, astronauts rely on dehydrated, pre-packaged food they can add water to and microwave. Because there is no gravity, traditional convection ovens don't work. So scientists and chefs at Nanoracks and Zero G Kitchens worked together to develop a zero-gravity conduction oven instead.
