Death Toll Rises to 15 in New Orleans Truck Attack

At least 15 people are dead and nearly 40 others are injured after a truck plowed into a crowd of revelers on New Orleans' historic Bourbon Street. Surveillance video shows the truck driving on the sidewalk at around 3:15 in the morning. After hitting the crowd, authorities say the assailant got out of the truck and fired on the responding officers. The attacker has been identified by the FBI as a 42-year-old Army veteran, a born US citizen who lived in Texas.
