Woman Honored After Rescuing Man Who Fell Through Ice

Kayla Masotto realized someone was in big trouble in the icy creek behind her house. In a split second, Masotto threw a jacket over her pajamas and scooted out on her paddleboard to get to the victim. Other good Samaritans joined in as they tried to reach the stricken man. As the 28-year-old woman got to him, he grabbed the paddleboard and pulled himself on it. Masotto and the other rescuers were later honored by first responders.
