‘Black-ish’ Star Jenifer Lewis Says She Was Swindled Out of $50,000 in Love Scam

Jenifer Lewis, 63, who plays Ruby in the hit series "Black-ish" revealed that she was scammed by a man she met at the gym, and is sharing her story to warn others. Lewis said she met the serial con artist, Antonio Mariot Wilson, at a Los Angeles gym, where he reportedly worked as a manager. Lewis said Wilson claimed to be an Oscar winner, a Navy Seal, an Oxford University graduate and a professor at UCLA. Then, he persuaded her to invest in a film project that turned out to be totally fake.
