Body of 30-Year-Old Lauren ‘El’ Cho Found in California Desert

The remains of Lauren Cho have been found in a California desert. Lauren Cho, called ‘El’ by family and friends, had been missing since June 28th. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department found human remains “in the rugged terrain of the open desert of Yucca Valley” on October 9th, and confirmed they belonged to Cho on October 28th. Cho’s sister wrote, “The depths of our collective sorrow feels endless as grief demands space for its accompanying emptiness.”
