Boy Who Survived Brain Surgery Gets Puppy That May Need Similar Treatment

Little Branson Figueroa and his puppy, Thanos, are best friends and share a unique bond. Last year, Branson had surgery for craniosynostosis. It occurs when a baby's skull closes before the brain is fully formed. Recently, Thanos’ veterinarian said the dog might have hydrocephalus, a buildup of fluid that can cause brain damage.
