Bride Invites 3-Year-Old Bone Marrow Recipient to Be Her Flower Girl
They've known each other for less than a day, but bride Hayden Hatfield Ryals has a special bond with her flower girl, 3-year-old Skye. It all started when Hayden was in college, and came across a representative for Be the Match, a bone marrow registry. She offered a cheek swab hoping to one day change someone's life if she was a match. Skye, who once suffered from leukemia, was that match.
