It’s been nearly 21 years since Princess Diana’s September 1997 funeral at London’s Westminster Abbey. At the time, Inside Edition spoke to various British children and teens, who became emotional as they described the late royal’s impact on their lives. Diana died Aug. 31, 1997, following a car crash inside a Paris tunnel. The woman known as “The People’s Princess” was only 36 years old.
