New legal troubles for Britney Spears have been brought to light. The embattled pop star is under investigation following allegations of striking her housekeeper. The Venture County Sheriff’s Department confirmed authorities were called to Britney’s home. According to a published report, a housekeeper took one of Britney’s dogs to the vet over concerns about how the pet was being treated, which led to an argument with the singer over the dog’s wellness. A source close to Britney says no striking occurred.
