    The southeast Asian nation of Myanmar is in turmoil. Following the Feb. 1 coup that overthrew a democratically elected government, protesters there have opposed the country’s new military rulers. The protesters are demanding that members of the democratically elected government be released from prison and restored to power. Images of daily protests, and the government’s violent response, have poured across social media.
