Businesses’ Missing Letters Aim to Raise Blood Donation Awareness
June 14, 2018
The letter "a" is gone from the State Farm logo. IBM is missing its “b.” And the "o’s” are absent from Domino's Pizza. Letters are vanishing from the names of well known corporations. It's part of the American Red Cross “Missing Types” campaign. A, B and O represent the main blood groups, and the campaign is a way of reminding people that new blood donors are decreasing at an alarming rate. If you want to donate, visit RedCrossBlood.org.
