Armed Smash and Grab Thieves Steal $87K Worth of Jewelry

A California jewelry store received an upgrade of new display cases made from bulletproof glass and several more security cameras after smash-and-grab thieves robbed them. Six armed thieves invaded the store and made off with $87,000 in merchandise. It was just one of an alarming spate of smash-and-grab attacks across the United States. The robberies usually happen in broad daylight and the thieves are reckless with no regard for the destruction they cause.
