Clean Up Underway After Oil Spill Threatens Island Paradise of Mauritius

The island paradise of Mauritius is threatened by what is being called a major ecological crisis. A Japanese bulk carrier struck a coral reef weeks ago and started spilling oil into the pristine waters. Mauritius is situated in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar off the African coast. The government has declared a state of emergency with an estimated one thousand tons of oil being reported to have leaked from the ship. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
