October 24, 2018
An explosive device was driven through the streets of New York City in a blast proof chamber after being discovered in the mail at CNN's Manhattan headquarters. Hundreds fled from Columbus Circle's Time Warner Center as the bomb squad rushed to the scene Wednesday morning. CNN anchors Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto were forced to interrupt their broadcast and evacuate. They later continued reporting from the streets via their cellphones.
