Cold Case in 1959 Death of 9-Year-Old Girl Solved More Than 60 Years Later

More than 60 years later, the mystery over who killed Candice “Candy” Elaine Rogers has been solved. She was 9 years old when police say she was raped and strangled in 1959. For six decades no one has been able to crack this case until now. Using new DNA technology, investigators matched DNA on Candy’s clothing with DNA of suspect John Reigh Hoff.
