Colorado Man Claims He Killed Mountain Lion That Attacked Him While Running

The runner who claims he suffocated a mountain lion to death is sharing his story. After 10 days of mystery, the super-human was identified Travis Kauffman, 31, of Fort Collins, Colorado. Kauffman is an environmental consultant and lives with his girlfriend,Annie. It is not far from the trail where he was attacked by a mountain lion while out for a run. Annie says at first she did not believe what happened, but the injuries to Kauffman’s face showed he had been in some kind of a struggle.
