Couple Says ‘Momfluencer’ Made Up Story About Them Trying to Kidnap Her Kids

A woman seeking fame as an online “Momfluencer” has a lot of explaining to do after authorities question whether she made up an elaborate plot that a couple tried to kidnap her kids while she was out shopping. Katie Sorenson says Sadie and Eddie Martinez tried to take her children from a craft store. The couple she accused denies the charges, and believes Sorenson’s accusations are racially motivated. Cops now say the evidence they have found do not support Katie Sorenson’s claims.
