CrossFit Games Athlete Lazar Dukic Drowns During Live Swim Event in Texas

A fitness star drowned while taking part in a race on live TV. Lazar Dukic was a top contender in the CrossFit games. During the swimming portion of the race, Dukic was in distress in the water. While there were lifeguards on paddle boards nearby, they didn’t seem to realize he was in trouble. A spectator even jumped in to try to save him but it was too late. An hour later, his body was pulled from the lake by divers. Many now are wondering why the lifeguards didn’t notice him struggling and come to his aid.
