Dad Survives Gunshot Wound After His Family’s Carjacked in Chicago

A terrified mother and daughter are safe after a frightening carjacking at gunpoint outside of a family home. After the carjackers take off, the father, David Ariola, comes out of the home, realizes what’s happening, and starts to chase after them. Tina Ariola says the carjacker “was probably less than ten, twelve feet away and pulled the trigger” hitting her husband. Incredibly, David Ariola ended up with just a broken arm from the bullet.
