The number of pedestrians killed while wearing headphones tripled in a recent six-year period, according to reports. The number of people wearing headphones is also on the rise, and the combination of listening devices and riding bikes on busy streets can be a deadly. Shocking video shows a bus mowing down 30-year-old investment banker Dan Hanegby on a bicycle on a busy New York City street in June 2017. He later died from his injuries.
