It has been two years since COVID-19 brought the world to its knees, but as the world begins to bounce back, healthcare workers say they are continuing to battle the effects of the pandemic, including stress, burnout and PTSD. Their mental health has only been worsened by the onslaught of violence from patients amid misinformation and disinformation. “We as providers need to understand our boundaries,” said Dina Velocci, CRNA.
