Dog Chews Through Battery, Setting Living Room on Fire

A dog chewed on a phone charger, causing it to spark and set fire to a mattress in the living room. The incident was caught on a family's home camera in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Firefighters continue to warn about the dangers of  lithium-ion batteries. "These incidents can occur due to various reasons such as exposure to extreme heat, physical damage to the battery overcharging or even using incompatible charging equipment," said Andrew Little, a spokesperson for the Tulsa, Oklahoma, Fire Department.
